Want to know more? Here's a fun little author interview with Felicia.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hi! My name is Felicia and like what my name means, I am a happy bubbly author who’s been in love with reading and writing forever. I used to write 80’s movie fanfiction when I was nine or ten before I even knew what fanfiction was! Now, I don’t write much fanfiction but instead, invent different worlds in my head involving teenage characters who are nothing like me in real life. Lol. I have self-published several young adult novels that can be found both on the Book Patch and Barnes and Noble online.
Recently, I’ve been involved in my own business, a ministry called Sealed by Faith because I want others to grow as close to God as I have.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is a Christian journal where I discuss some events that have happened in my life. I believe these things have helped mold me into the person that I am today. It is also interactive because the reader can write their own thoughts and feelings inside the pages of the book. I’ve recently gotten into prayer journaling and that’s what inspired this journal.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not exactly, but I do like to create a playlist and a cast of young actors and actresses for my books.

What authors, or books have influenced you?

I used to love Sweet Valley High and Fear Street growing up, so those books definitely inspired me to write.

What are you working on now?
The book I’m working on now is a Cinderella retelling called ‘Ella in Love’. It is a young adult Christian romance but really, anyone can read it.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t ever give up. Just always keep writing and perfecting your skills.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
A writer always writes!

What are you reading now?
The Five Nights at Freddy’s Fazbear Frights series. I love curling up in bed and reading those. I think because back in the day, I used to love Fear Street books and FNAF’s has that same kind of feel. Plus, I just finished The Girls from Hush Cabin by Marie Hoy-Kenny

What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to keep trying my hand at young adult Christian novels. I think I have some devotionals in me as well.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you, what books would you bring?
The Bible
Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret
Anne of Green Gables
One of the FNAF’s books
